2022 Schedule

March 6 – Noon Mass first Sunday of Lent
April 14 – Holy Thursday, Church open for viewing 5:30pm – 7pm
April 15 – Good Friday, Church open for viewing noon to 3:00pm
April 17-Easter Mass at noon
May 15- Noon Mass pray for our mothers followed by spring dinner
July 10 - Noon Mass celebrating the 150th anniversary of St. Albertus community followed by the annual picnic
August 14 - Noon Mass with Polish traditional blessing of the herbs and flowers followed by a church tour
October 2 Noon Mass celebrating the start of Polish Heritage Month
November 6 - Noon Mass remembering all departed souls followed by a harvest dinner.
December 24 - Christmas Mass Pasterka, Shepherds Mass with Koledy sung by the choir Mass time TBD

About Us

Polish American Historic Site Association, P.A.H.S.A., is open to all individuals regardless of age, nationality, ethnic background, sex, marital status, sexual preference, religion, or physical challenge. P.A.H.S.A. is the official caretaker of the complex of buildings that once made up St. Albertus Parish. This is with the full support of the Archdiocese of Detroit. In addition, P.A.H.S.A. is a member of the Polish American Congress. There is no other organization that is officially soliciting funds for renovation of St. Albertus Church. P.A.H.S.A. is a 501 (c) (3) organization and all donations are deductible to the full extent provided by law.

What we offer

St Albertus is a great plaec to celebrate important events. The church is available for rent. Since we are in the middle of a pandmic, we advise that all uses in the space be approaved by the Governor of this state of Michigan. Please contact us for your event needs and we would be happy to be accomodating to your event/production.

Weddings

Have your wedding in a Historic church. We allow weddings to take place in this historic monument.(There can be no Catholic weddings at this time)

Film and video production

St Albertus is a gem of a historic site in Detroit. It is located close to Eastern Market, and offers a 50 car parking lot for staging. We have had documentaries, music videos, and many other camera crews film this iconic institution.

Mass

Even though the covid 19 has had a great impact on this historic church, We have a catholic mass, in accordance with the archiocesse, 8 times a year, Click hear to find out when the next one is.

Over the last 3 yeras, we have been slowly tuck-pointing most of the church. Learn more about the monumental project, and see the difference.
